Sofreh Supperclub is a participatory design project that nurtures cultural continuity within the Iraqi diaspora through communal dining. The project features a shareable dining kit with handcrafted tableware from Baghdad, a woven bread basket, and a sofreh (tablecloth) symbolizing agricultural heritage. By inviting hosts to reinterpret traditional meals, the project creates spaces for connection, storytelling, and cultural exchange—redefining how design can foster belonging and activate diasporic memory.
